Nice to meet you. I’m Joel.

I have been working as a UX Designer for over 8 years, previously working in the finance and healthcare industries. My experience has involved building websites and applications from the ground up, improving experiences and creating innovative designs.

I previously worked at Acacium Group, a leading healthcare delivery partner, where I worked with brands within the business to provide UX expertise on websites and applications. This allowed me to work with a range of products and different stakeholders, so every day is different.

During university, I studied Digital Media where I graduated with a 2:1. Additionally, I also played in the clubs as a DJ, working alongside some awesome artists! I used my DJing as a way to get creative with music, as well as providing graphic design support for club nights.

Alongside my main work, I have also worked voluntary on the committee for CSRfm, a radio station based in Canterbury. As the Design Team Leader, I led a team focused on designing web and print assets for the station, along with working closely with senior Kent University staff members on hosting events.
