Nice to meet you. I’m Joel.

I have been working as a UX Designer for over 5 years, previously working in the finance and healthcare industries. My experience has involved building websites and applications from the ground up, improving experiences and creating innovative designs.

I’m currently working at Acacium Group, a leading healthcare delivery partner, where I work with brands within the business to provide UX expertise on websites and applications. This allows me to work with a range of products and different stakeholders, so every day is different.

During university, I studied Digital Media where I graduated with a 2:1. Additionally, I also played in the clubs as a DJ, working alongside some awesome artists! I used my DJing as a way to get creative with music, as well as providing graphic design support for club nights.

Alongside my main work, I have also taken voluntary work on the committee for CSRfm, a radio station based in Canterbury. As Design Team Leader, I lead a team focused on designing web and print assets for the station, along with working closely with senior Kent University staff members on hosting events.
